Script writing says it is unavailable

Writing scripts uses Apple Intelligence, which needs an iPhone 15 Pro or newer, or an iPad with an M-series chip, with the feature switched on in Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri. If you have just turned it on, the model downloads in the background and can take a little while. PrompTele shows the current status in Settings → Writing.

The script is not following my voice

Check that PrompTele has microphone and speech recognition permission in iOS Settings. Voice pacing also needs the on-device speech model for your language, which downloads the first time you use it.

Dragging the script takes over manually for that read. Tap the waveform button in the controls to hand it back to your voice.

My recording did not save

When a read finishes you are asked whether to keep the take. Choosing Save to camera roll requires permission to add to Photos; if you declined earlier, turn it on in Settings → PrompTele → Photos and try again. The take is kept until you decide.

Restoring a subscription

On a new phone, open Settings → Restore purchases in the app while signed in to the same Apple Account.

Cancelling

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting PrompTele does not cancel it.

Where is my data

On your phone, and nowhere else. See the privacy policy.
